DefectSome Peugeot 308 III, 408 vehicles have been equipped with a Door Control Unit which has not the latest software version. This can potentially cause various malfunctions that prevent the front doors from opening or closing, the exterior mirrors from folding or adjusting, and/or the vehicle from moving forward (transmission locked in “P”). In the worst-case scenario, this may lead to window anti-pinch protection not working, which may result in a non-compliance with regulatory requirements.
RemedyTo rectify this issue, we will update the Door Control Unit software on driver and passenger side.
