DefectCurrent passing from the vehicle alternator to the EM40/EM55 unit situated in the floor behind either the drivers or passengers' seat. This could cause the connector to overheat, and in extremely rare situations this would cause a loss of all rear road lights / rear light monitoring (VLM) system and some other ancillary services including the electric entrance step and refrigerator running on 12v.
Remedy1) Check your rear road lights - make sure they are fully operational before each journey._x000D_ _x000D_ 2) Turn off the refrigerator while driving - this will help lessen the risk until the necessary checks have been completed. The refrigerator is safe to use when stationary (on LPG or 230v)._x000D_ _x000D_ 3) Contact NWRV to confirm you have received a recall notification email and we will arrange a time to inspect and replace your Sargent control board.
