DefectAs part of our constant quality monitoring, it was found that some vehicles may be missing up to two screws in the axle bearing bracket. This bracket helps guide the rear axle. _x000D_ Over time, missing screws may cause the bracket to loosen, which could lead to axle misalignment, reduced driving and braking control, and an increased risk of an accident. While immediate failure is unlikely, this may occur after around 600,000 km
RemedyCustomer must contact their nearest authorized Daimler Truck dealership and make arrangements to have the work carried out as soon as possible.
