DefectA number of Transit and Transit / Tourneo Custom vehicles built with H7 AGM batteries may experience one or more _x000D_ of, acid smell or smell of rotten eggs in cabin, hissing sound, visible gas venting battery, or heat in the seat. _x000D_ Gas emissions during a normal Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) battery gassing event produce hydrogen and oxygen, _x000D_ however increased temperatures can lead to a side reaction which produces H2S (hydrogen sulphide).
