DefectCertain batches (from a particular supplier) of the front brake caliper have irregularities in body casting structure. Front brake calipers which have the production type casting irregularity may crack and break. This can result in a loss of front brake function or cause the front wheel rotation to be obstructed should a break occur. A reduction or loss in front braking performance / function or resulting loss in operational handling could increase the risk of an accident-causing injury or death to the rider / pillion or others. Note: Updated recall to add new VIN numbers 16 Feb 2026.
RemedyOwners with an affected vehicle should immediately have the front brake caliper checked professionally at an authorised GASGAS dealership. Therefore, please contact either your selling dealer or an authorised GASGAS dealer ASAP to make an appointment to have the vehicle recall performed free of charge in accordance with GASGAS technical bulletin requirement. Also please inform your dealer of your full VIN details to assist with booking arrangements.
