DefectIssue: On certain motorcycles, the meter (instrument cluster) may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the turn signals may not work. Safety Risk: Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when the rider intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Yamaha will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the meter.
