DefectOn certain electric trucks, the two different types of coolant that were used could react together and damage the high-voltage cooling system. As a result, the high-voltage system cooling pump could seize and cause the truck to enter a reduced power mode. If this happens, and you continue to drive the truck, there could be a loss of power to the wheels._x000D_ A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.

RemedyIsuzu will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the high-voltage system cooling pump and coolant. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the coolant level sensors. Additionally, the label on the engine and page in the owner's manual will be updated with the new required coolant type.
