DefectOn certain RV trailers, if the exterior latch for the rear patio door is locked, you may not be able to open it from inside the trailer. As a result, this could prevent occupants from using the rear door and/or delay occupants from escaping the trailer in an emergency._x000D_ An exit door that can't be opened could slow your exit from the trailer in an emergency. This could increase the risk of injury.

RemedyTo reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises you not to lock the external latch on the rear patio door until the recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to remove the exterior latch on the rear patio door.
