DefectOn a small number of motorhomes, the support tube that secures the propane tank may not have been welded properly and could fail. As a result, the propane tank could become loose and detach._x000D_ A propane tank that detaches could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Additionally, a propane tank that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.

RemedyTo reduce the safety risk, Thor Motor Coach recommends to empty/purge the propane tank before traveling until the recall repairs are completed. Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install additional support brackets to secure the propane tank.
