DefectOn certain vehicles, the electronic brake booster (EBB) may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the EBB could enter a failsafe mode and cause a sudden increase in brake pedal force. This could also cause certain advanced driver assistance systems not to work properly._x000D_ A sudden increase in brake pedal force can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.
