DefectIn the 12V and 48V ground wiring in the engine compartment and under the floor, due to improper assembly during manufacturing, some nuts at the body ground terminal points are not tightened to the specified torque. As a result, the nuts may loosen due to vibrations during driving, increasing electrical resistance, which can lead to heat generation, melting surrounding components, and in the worst case, potentially causing a fire.
ComponentElectrical system (wiring)
RemedyFor all vehicles, inspect the 12V and 48V ground wiring nuts in the engine compartment and under the floor for looseness. If looseness is found, inspect the contact surfaces of the ground wiring and nuts, and retighten them to the specified torque. If there is damage to the contact surfaces or melting of surrounding parts, replace the relevant components with new ones.
