DefectIn the holder attached to the steering controller of agricultural tractors, the design against water ingress and vibration is insufficient. As a result, long-term use can cause rust and wear on the splines connected to the holder. Therefore, if use continues as is, the wear on the splines will progress, and in the worst case, the steering may spin freely, making steering operation impossible.

RemedyFor all vehicles, the steering controller will be replaced with an improved part (①) that includes an additional sealing material on the upper part of the steering controller to prevent water ingress, and reinforced surrounding parts at the steering controller mounting area to counter vibration. If the steering controller and surrounding parts are seized during the remedial action, they will be replaced with new parts (②).
