DefectIn the power transmission system of the combine harvester, due to insufficient design review, the dimensional accuracy of the tension bolt component that applies tension to the drive belt becomes inappropriate, which can lead to strong interference with the holder. As a result, repeated stress is applied to the interference point due to vibrations and impacts during machine operation, and in the worst case, the tension bolt may break, causing the drive belt to lose tension and rendering the vehicle inoperable.
ComponentPower transmission system (tension bolt)
RemedyAll affected parts will be replaced with parts that have implemented the following countermeasures: ① L-shaped bracket with added geometric tolerance to the opening angle. ② Holder with a modified shape, adding a pivot point to allow rotation not only in the front-back direction but also in the left-right direction. ③ Tension bolt with the screw part size changed from M12 to M14, and the screw part and main body changed from a welded connection to a single machined piece.
