DefectRegarding the steering wheel, due to insufficient drawing instructions for the fastening part between the steering wheel and the steering column, some units may have insufficient fastening force in that part. As a result, inputs such as steering during driving may cause the mounting nut to loosen, leading to abnormal noise and play in the fitting part. If use continues in this state, in the worst case, the fitting may detach, making steering operation impossible.
ComponentSteering system (steering wheel)
RemedyFor all vehicles, inspect and clean the steering wheel's mounting condition, correctly install the steering wheel, and tighten the nut to the specified torque.
