DefectDue to an inappropriate control program for the parking support system, Parking Pilot*, if the function is used while the password input screen is displayed on the display, the warning sound does not activate when steering assistance ends during parking or exiting a parking space. Therefore, it does not comply with safety standards. *Assists parking by controlling steering, accelerator, and brake operations.

RemedyFor all vehicles, the parking support system control unit will be rewritten with a countermeasure program. The program rewrite will be performed by the user via remote distribution of the countermeasure program through wireless communication, or by a dealer.
