| Defect | In the control program for the HST valve of the hydrostatic transmission in shovel loaders, due to insufficient design review, hydraulic pressure may be released at a lower pressure than commanded, making it impossible to control the transmission according to vehicle speed. Consequently, if the transmission fails to shift and the vehicle accelerates, the HST motor pump's rotation speed measurement sensor may detect an abnormality and issue an error, causing the transmission to shift to neutral, and there is a risk of the vehicle stopping. |
