DefectDue to an improper manufacturing process of the engine oil cooler hose, fine indentations may form on the inner wall of the hose, resulting in uneven thickness in some parts. Consequently, if oil pressure generated during engine operation is applied to the thin parts of the hose's inner wall, the hose may rupture, causing oil to leak and the warning light to illuminate. In the worst case, the leaked oil may come into contact with hot parts of the engine, posing a risk of fire.
ComponentEngine (Engine oil cooler hose)
RemedyFor all affected vehicles, the engine oil cooler hose will be replaced with a good quality part.
