DefectIn the emission control device, due to an improper fixing method for the air-fuel ratio sensor cord, some cords interfere with the drive chain. As a result, if the wire insulation of the cord is damaged, it may short-circuit and the warning light will illuminate, preventing proper air-fuel ratio control and potentially causing exhaust gas values to exceed standard limits.
ComponentEmission control device (air-fuel ratio sensor cord)
RemedyFor all vehicles, inspect the left and right air-fuel ratio sensor cords for damage and secure them with bands. If the cord is damaged, replace it with a new one.
