DefectIn the engine crankshaft, due to improper manufacturing processes, some crankshafts have uneven surface treatment at the connecting rod mounting part or dimensional errors in the journal. As a result, during use, the connecting rod and crankshaft bearings may seize, causing engine failure, and in the worst case, the engine may stop while driving, making the vehicle unable to run.

RemedyFor all vehicles, diagnose the vehicle and engine with a diagnostic tester. If the diagnosis is normal, take action ①; if an abnormality is found, take action ②. ① Replace the engine oil (0W40), oil filter (standard product), and filler cap (0W40 printed product) with improved parts, and insert a revised edition into the owner's manual. ② Replace the engine assembly with a good product.
