DefectDue to insufficient verification accompanying the relocation of the left side radar of the side collision warning device to match vehicle width standards, some fixing bolts of the left side radar interfere with the edge of the fuel tank. Therefore, if use continues in this state, the fuel tank may be damaged by vibration, etc., and in the worst case, fuel may leak.
ComponentSide collision warning device (left side radar)
RemedyFor all vehicles, inspect the clearance between the left side radar fixing bolt and the fuel tank. If there is insufficient clearance, add washers to the fixing bolt or adjust the position of the fuel tank. If deep scratches are found, replace the fuel tank with a new one.
