DefectDue to inadequate design review of the electrical circuit in the starter switch of agricultural chemical sprayers, overcurrent may flow to the starter switch depending on the operating conditions of electrical components. As a result, the resin inside the starter switch may melt, causing poor contact of the terminals. In the worst case, the engine may stop and become unable to restart.

RemedyFor all affected vehicles, the starter switch will be replaced with a new one, the harness will be inspected, and a countermeasure harness will be added to modify the electrical circuit.
