DefectWhen repeatedly decelerating using engine braking from a high engine speed, engine oil may be drawn into the combustion chamber and burn, leading to increased oil consumption. If use continues under these conditions, abnormal noise may occur due to poor oil lubrication, and in the worst case, the engine may be damaged while driving, potentially causing the rear wheel to lock and leading to a fall.

RemedyFor all affected vehicles, as an interim measure, the engine oil level will be inspected and refilled to the specified amount if insufficient. If there is an engine abnormality, it will be repaired. Additionally, users will be notified of the defect, urged to check their engine oil level, and a warning label will be affixed to the vehicle. Once a permanent countermeasure is decided, corrective action will be implemented.
